Rohde Contemporary Photo Exhibition - Group show 'ARTIST+ARTIST' 9 June - 5 August 2011 during Copenhagen Photo Festival

Opening Thursday 9 June from 5-7pm

Rohde Contemporary will, as partner once again, this second year of Copenhagen Photo Festival, present the visitors of the festival with a photo show in our Fron Room.

Photography belongs to the newest media in the category art on paper, invented in 1839 but only seriously accepted as art in the 1980s. Since then it has become one of contemporary art's favorite media, and there are approximately as many different methods when working with photography as there are artists.

We have invited 23 artists from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, America, England, Austria, Spain, Germany and Israel, and each artist has invited a guest of their own choice.We have imposed on each artist that they may not participate with more than one work, which must not be larger than A3 and that the frame should be black.
