Lofotr Viking Festival

For the last five years Lofotr Viking Museum in Lofoten, North-Norway, has organized Lofotr Viking Festival during the first week of August. The event has now become a true Viking Market, where about 100 participants gather in these beautiful surroundings for five days of trading, activities, shows and much fun! More than 4.500 people visited our festival in 2009!
This years Lofotr Viking Festival will be held in week 31: August 4th – 8th, 2010. There will of course be a market place with demonstration and sales of various time-relevant handicrafts of good quality. There will also – as earlier years – be Viking Warriors, demonstration of weapons, archery and more…… If you have an interest in being a part of this, it can be your chance to combine a Viking-experience with a once-in-a-lifetime vacation in the beautiful Lofoten Islands!
