About the gallery

Cherrylane Fine Arts is a family run Art Gallery, Bespoke picture framing service and fine art printing bureau, dedicated to representing the development of contemporary artists in Ireland and abroad. It was setup by the current proprietor and director Michael Hayes beginning with the picture framing in 1990 following with the art gallery in 2001.

Michael and his wife opened their framing service in Co.Wicklow with an idea to provide an unconventional service to artists, a creative approach to the art of framing customizing frames and finishes to suit each individual piece of artwork.

The type of service they run takes an understanding of art and artists and they work closely with their clients continually learning the nature and needs of Irish artists.

Following a fire in the framing workshops in 2000, in which everything except the 400 year old walls were destroyed, the premises' have been renovated with 1000 sq feet allocated as a gallery space dedicated to exhibiting contemporary fine art.
