The Orchestra of Opera North Concerts September 2011 Leeds
The Orchestra of Opera North will be performing with guest soloists and the Leeds Festival Chorus at this year's Opera in the Park on Saturday 30 July.
Leeds City Council presents Opera in the Park, a spectacular evening of outdoor classical entertainment on Saturday 30 July 2011 set in the glorious surroundings of Temple Newsam Park. This picnic styled concert will be hosted by and feature a special performance from television and singing star Aled Jones. Music will be provided by the region’s very own and universally acclaimed Orchestra of Opera North together with the Leeds Festival Chorus and conducted by Martin André.
With a fantastic repertoire featuring arias from La traviata, Madama Butterfly, and Tosca performed by renowned soloists; Orla Boylan, Heather Shipp, Gwyn Hughes Jones and David Kempster as well as the firework finale to look forward to, make sure you buy tickets now for what is set to be a truly magical occasion.
