Ger Doornink
GerDoornink (1949) received an education at the Arnhem Art Academy in Publicity. Doornink is a very versatile artist who started his career as designer and photographer in the advertisement business and the fashion world. Here he build quite the reputation, using an alias: Gerry the Cat.
He lived and worked in Tokyo, where he became acquainted with the Japanese style, and used this in his designs. In Milan he became seriously impressed of the Italian masters and the Italian way of life. When he returned to Amsterdam,Doornink studied the Dutch old masters like Rembrandt.
Nowadays he paints large portraits of women. He combines different aspects of his career in his paintings like the graphic design, influences from the old masters and his eye for beauty. He feels throughout his career he has always been looking for the aspect of beauty in the world surrounding him. Now he wants to present an element of beauty into art loversandcollectioners’ homes.
Judith Wiersema
For more than 15 years the promising Dutch artist Judith Wiersema (1968, Bergen) puts her creative mind and energy into powerful forms in stone and wood. These firm materials symbolize her experience of resistance as she encountered in real life. Her work distinguishes itself due to an unique balance between realistic shapes and sizes of abstraction. The essence of her work combine both strengt hand sensitivity of women.
The message in her sculptures are translated into highly sensual, revealing and teasing compositions. Wiersema transforms her sculptures in bronze and aluminium objects enhancing glamourous effects. It is Judith’s intention to tease the mind and provoke the thoughts; these vibrations reflect to infinite imagination.

Morren Galleries, founded by Eric Morren in 1993, has three locations in The Netherlands. Since its founding, Morren Galleries has become well known for the promotion of contemporary figurative artists from both The Netherlands and countries around the world. For almost two decades Morren Galleries has exhibited hundreds of artists, ranging from emerging to established.
Morren Galleries always strives to progress and is dynamic and original in promoting artists formerly unknown in The Netherlands like photographers Billy&Hells (Germany), Bethany de Forest (The Netherlands) and Brooke Shaden (USA). In addition to participating in art fairs and the production of catalogues and DVD's about the artist, Morren Galleries organizes exclusive late night gallery dinners and preview parties. The gallery also publishes its own newspaper with a circulation of 55,000.
