Dance House Choreography Masterclass with Stephen Pelton 2011

This two-hour workshop will offer an inside look at some of Stephen Pelton’s choreographic techniques. Beginning individually, with guided imagery and writing exercises to create movement material, participants will then work in pairs to refine and shape each others materials into the beginnings of a collaborative movement study.

Dance House promote and provide dance and physical activity to all by creating a safe, fun and exciting environment in which people of all ages and abilities can thrive.Since starting in 1999, Dance House have gone from strength to strength and are recognized as a National Dance Centre providing a wide range of movement styles, taster workshops, training weekends, choreographic and performance opportunities for both professional dancers and the community.
As well as new and established classes, we are also introducing workshops and cutting edge performances including an overnight dance performance called ‘The Bed’. We also offer specialist classes and training for companies, schools and groups as well as creating professional opportunities for established dancers who want to expand their experience and learn from their peers.
