Ewan McLennan
Winner of several awards including the 2011 BBC Radio 2 Horizon Award Ewan McLennan is an emerging folk artist that has been making headlines. His music combines traditional folk, with an inevitable focus on the music of Scotland, as well as his own self-penned songs that are receiving critical acclaim in their own right. BBC Radio 2's Mike Harding has said of Ewan, ‘he sings beautifully, with great sincerity and great empathy, he's terrific!’. His guitar playing, described as stunning, is influenced by the rigour and technique from his years of studying classical guitar, while retaining a unique and compelling sound in which his immersion in folk music is evident.

Andy Kirkham
Andy is a Norfolk based guitarist that studied classical guitar at Kingston Polytechnic with Mike Edmunds and Stephen Goss. He has gone on to play in a guitar quartet, various duos and bands, whilst continuing to study and play solo classical guitar from mostly Latin America. A fascination with African music led to studying and learning African tunes including those of Ali Farka-Toure from Mali, Iyab Ogada from Kenya and others from South Africa and Zaire. An interest with Eastern European music led to founding Norwich klezmer band ‘Klunk’ which enjoyed much local success.
The Ben Smith Band

We're delighted to announce that Ben Smith, Ali McMillan and Lorenzo de Feo are returning to the East Anglia Guitar Festival in 2013 after their rousing performance in the marquee in 2012! Stephen Kenyon
Stephen Kenyon studied classical guitar from the age of seven, but did a BA Honours Degree in English and Media Studies, graduating in 1984, rather than a music degree or guitar diploma. After graduation he travelled widely, following up various ethnomusicological and folk music interests, and from 1986 began to combine these with a more formal approach to guitar study and composition. In 1990 this led to enrollment as a Post Graduate at Trinity College of Music in London under Gilbert Biberian and Dr Glenn Morgan, where in 1991 he successfully took the Post Graduate Certificate in Guitar Performance.

Jon Hart
The Jon Hart Band are an acoustic trio playing a mixture of energetic rhythmic roots with other world influences, interspersed with deeper grooves. "Tight & Bright"! With Dave Bacon on Drums and Michael Orange on Bass, the Jon Hart Band are currently performing songs from Jon's first Album, 'Barefoot'. Along with new material from the bands 'Out Of Reach' EP released on the 1st of Feb 2012.
