Orchestra Riga presents Bach, Beethoven, Brahms
This concert will feature music from three of the world's most well-known composers. The concert will feature Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerto No. 1 d-moll BWV 1052 arranged for symphonic band by Latvian composer Vilnis Šmīdbergs.
The orchestra as well as the organist Liene Andreta Kalnciema will also perform Johannes Brahms' Chorale Preludes op. 122. Also performed will be Ludwig van Beethoven's Overture Egmont and Brahm’s solo songs by soprano Evija Martinsone.
