The Korkyra Baroque Festival
The Eighth Korkyra Baroque Festival will once again host prestigious international and domestic ensembles and soloists, specialists in the performance of baroque music.
We proudly present our guests from Denmark: Ensemble Odyssee, La Ritirata (Spain), Plaisirs de Musique (Czech Republic), Musica Batavia (Netherlands), Monteverdi String Band (United Kingdom), I musicali affetti (Italy), as well as renowned soloists: Krešimir Stražanac; bariton, Monika Cerovčec; sopran, Sonja Runje; mezzosopran, Anabela Barić; sopran, Franko Klisović; countertenor and conductor and harpsichordist Aapo Häkkinen. These talented foreign artists will be joined by the resident ensemble of the festival, the Croatian Baroque Ensemble with distinguished violinist and Festival’s Artistic Director, Laura Vadjon.
