Friday 29th April 2011
Venue: Montgomery Hall
7.15pm – Frances Black, John Tams & Barry Coope and Jez Lowe
Saturday 30th April 2011
Venue: Montgomery Square
9.45am – Festival procession from Montgomery Hall to Montgomery Square lead by Barnsley Samba Band and Wath Morris Team.
Stalls include: craft, face-painting & food.
Street Theatre includes: Stilt walkers, Mike the Travelling Minstrel and Man in a Box.
Displays include: Barnsley Samba Band, Wath Morris Team, Taboo, Wath BGR, Maltby Phoenix Sword Dancers, CW Dramatics, Vuka Africa Art, Street Dancers and Irish Dancers.
11.40am – Reading of Thomas Tuke’s Will
11.45am – Procession from Montgomery Square to All Saint’s Parish Church for the traditional bun-throwing.

12.30pm – Charlie Barker & Harriet Bartlett, Bernard Wrigley, Pete Morton (TBC) and Kieran Halpin
7.30pm – Bernard Wrigley, Anna Shannon, Chris Wood and the Tannahill Weavers
Venue: Moonarooni - an exciting audiovisual experience
12.00pm – HyperYak
12.45pm – Vuka Africa Art
2.15pm – Rock & Dhol
3.45pm – Taboo
Venue: All Saint’s Parish Church
12.00-12.30pm – Traditional bun-throwing from the church tower, Morris Dancing and Mike the Travelling Minstrel.
12.30-2.00pm – African Drumming Workshop in St. James’ Room located inside All Saint’s Parish Church.
6.00pm – Barnsley Youth Jazz Band and Brass Band Concert.
Venue: Wath Library
10.00am-11.40am – Story Time for 3-5 year olds, Irish Dancers, Taboo, Maltby Phoenix Sword Dancers and Patsy’s Fun Show.
2.00-3.30pm – Children’s Workshops (sign up in morning at library): Street Dance, Crafty Corners and Drama.
Venue: Dance Stage at Town Hall GreenSpace
12.30-3.30pm – Maynard Flipflap’s ‘Daft as a Brush’ Show, Irish Dancers, Rock & Dhol, Taboo, Vuka Africa Art, Maltby Phoenix Sword Dancers and Street Dancers.
Venue: Red Lion (Function Room)
1.00pm – Singaround, all welcome to bring instruments and join in.
4.30pm – Silver Roots Competition, hosted by Lou Marriot. Register on the day to take part in Wath Festival’s search for mature talent. Cash prizes available.
Venue: Wath Rugby Club
1.00pm – Wath Morris Team’s ‘Mostly Chorus’ session. All welcome to bring instruments and join in.
Sunday 1st May
Venue: Montgomery Hall
12.30pm – Holly Taymar, Flaxenby, Uiscedwr and Kris Drever
7.30pm – Cathryn Craig & Brian Willoughby, Elbow Jane, Drever McCusker Woomble featuring Heidi Talbot + Winner of the Wath Young Performers Award 2011.
Venue: Red Lion (Function Room)
1.00pm – Singaround, all welcome to bring instruments and join in.
4.00pm – Wath Young Performers Award 2011, hosted by Charlie Barker. The 3 finalists perform for our panel of judges to decide who will win first prize of performing at the evening concert and a cash prize.
Venue: All Saint’s Parish Church, St. James’ Room
4.30-6.00pm – Ukulele Workshop with Holly Taymar, all ages welcome.
Venue: Sandygate Hotel
11.45pm – Festival Chair’s Party (open to Full Weekend Ticket holders or by invitation ONLY)
Music from Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, Flaxenby, Bar Steward Son’s of Val Doonican and floor spot guests.
Monday 2nd May
