12noon-6pm The Frost Queen's Street Fair follows 12noon-6pm with Street entertainers, the Clun Mummers, The Swords of Chivalry, Morris Dancing with Jockey and South Shropshire Morris and Live Music from Parti Gungrog
Live Music in the evening at the Sun Inn with the Rythme Thieves

9pm Live Music from 9pm at The White Horse Inn with Eddie Gartry & Bluestate UK

5.30-6.30pm Green Man Talk with Dr Colin Harris "Green Men, Grotesques & Uglies" at Hightown Community Room 5.30-6.30pm
6pm "Sumer is icumen in" - Celebrating the end of Winter and the start of the season of love by Ensemble Fleurs de Lys in St George's Church at 6pm

Monday 2nd May

12 noon; the Green Man enters Clun accomanied by
The May Queen, Maypole Dancers, Morris Dancers and Entertainers.
The famous "Battle on the Bridge" follows,
If the Green Man does not defeat the Frost Queen there will be no summer in the Clun Valley!
Traditional May Fair opens in the grounds of Clun Castle (courtesy of English Heritage) with Green Man Fire & Drumming display on the hill, stalls and traditional craft demonstrations.
Morris Dancing with the Iron Men and Severn Gilders, strolling entertainers, jugglers, jesters, magician Battle re-enactments with Swords of Chivalry, exotic pets, live music from Whalebone, maypole dancing, duck racing, pony rides,beer tent and refreshments
