A rich collection of Greek folk art dating from 1650 until today including works of embroidery,

weaving, costumes, masquerades, silver, metals, pottery, wood carvings and stone carvings. The museum’s annexes include: the Tzidaraki Mosque (the museum’s original location), where the "V. Kyriazopoulos Collection of Folk Pottery" is now housed and the building at Kyrrestou 8, known as the "Baths of Athena." The newest building at Panos 22, in Plaka, features historic items from various Greek trade professions of the 19th and 20th century.
