The Arts in Difference programme series intends to promote mental otherness and equal opportunity in the context of the arts in collaboration with Dutch and Belgian partners. 
The project comprises three main components. In one of them Hungarian, Belgian and Dutch mentally handicapped and “healthy” artists will jointly create works of art in a workshop. The second main component comprises two exhibitions: One of them will display the works created in the workshop, while the other will exhibit a selection of works from a similar collection. The project also includes a conference on visual art activities of the mentally handicapped and the relationship between psychoanalysis and art.
